Un año!

Hace un año la mejor banda pop llegaba a nuestro país! Fue una semana espectacular para los fans que disfrutaron de un excelente concierto en el Luna Park y muchos lograron saludar y sacarse fotos con el trío noruego, quienes una vez más, nos demostraron lo amables y sencillos que son.

Gracias a-ha por ser la banda sonora de nuestras vidas! Los extrañamos!

El 1ro de Abril estará a la venta el último concierto de la gira "Ending On A High Note". Saldrá en formato DVD, CD, DVD+CD (Deluxe) y en Blu-Ray. Esten atentos a la novedades!

My name is Greg Lansdowne, I am a journalist/editor/PR/communications professional based in the UK.

Like everyone reading this, I have been inspired by the music of a-ha – some of us for longer than others due to our more advanced years.

Having been one of the lucky few to have attended the ‘last hurrah’ in Oslo, I came out of that concert imbued with a desire to play a small part in ensuring the legacy of a-ha (as if it could be in doubt).

As a professional writer, words are my weapons of choice in that battle.

While sport is my primary area of expertise, I have decided to compile a book on one of my other specialist subjects – namely a-ha.

Not that I would intend to embark on such a project via my thoughts alone.

No doubt my experience of being an a-ha fan – the constant justifications and explanations that a-ha did actually carry on after 1985 – is mirrored all over the world.

It is these experiences that deserve a greater platform and I believe the best way to do that would be with a story of the ‘Ending On A High Note’ tour through the eyes/words of those who attended the concerts.

I am, therefore, writing to ask for contributors to such a book who would be interested in sharing not only their thoughts on a specific concert but also why your love for a-ha took you to that concert (particularly for those travelling quite a distance).

Initially, I would like to get as much feedback as possible in terms of whether this is a book that would be welcomed the a-ha fraternity.

Were that to be the case, I would then ask for people to volunteer their interest to write about a particular concert (to make sure all bases could be covered).

No doubt there are many hardcore fans who were unable to attend any of the final concerts and I would certainly not wish to exclude them from participating in the book either.

I am not looking for contributions immediately as I would like to test the water first.

Y llegó el día. Todos recordaremos este 4 de diciembre de 2010 

como el cierre de la carrera de A-ha.

que nos han dejado en este camino de 25 años.

En la recta final

Ya quedan sólo tres conciertos para que a-ha se despida definitivamente de los escenarios, como grupo.

El recital del 4 de diciembre marcará el fin de una carrera con 25 años de éxitos. 

Este último show será grabado y se editará en DVD, tal como se hizo cuando volvieron en el 2001 con el recital de Vallhall.

 La diferencia esta vez, es que en aquella oportunidad también fue emitido en directo por internet y miles de fans pudieron disfrutar de ese tan esperado retorno. Para esta ocasión no ha habido respuesta positiva con respecto a los pedidos de un live stream. Es una pena, hubera sido un gran regalo de A-HA despedirse de su público de esa manera, pero no lo han considerado...

Igualmente, todos los fans estamos muy agradecidos por estos años de música en los que se han transformado en parte de nuestras vidas.

Last night a-ha played their first of a series of final concerts in Oslo, at the Spektrum. There was a capacity crowd and the band played a very energized set. On behalf of the band, Morten thanked everyone for an amazing 25 years together.

If you want a chance to see a-ha live, or know someone who did not manage to get a ticket to the final shows, we have received this exciting news:

After doing yesterday’s show we found a production sollution that allows us to indrease the capacity on the floor, so a few hundred more tickets will be released for sale today.

Tickets can be bought at http://www.billettservice.no and at the Oslo Spektrum Box Office.

Please pass this news along so that those who have been looking for tickets can have a chance to attend these historic concerts!

Se acerca el final ...

En los últimos recitales la banda viene repitiendo el setlist, con Take on Me como tema final en cada uno de ellos.

Pero en una entrevista a Pal hace unos meses, manifestaba que si por él fuera no tocarían Take on Me en show final de su carrera, pero no dijo cuál sería su favorita...

Les propongo que los fans elijamos cuál sería el tema para la despedida definitiva. Puse algunos , pero pueden poner otro si no les parece ninguno de los propuestos.

En caso de marcar la opción "OTRA", estaria bueno que pongan cuál les gustaría escuchar como canción final del amplio repertorio de a-ha

¿O será que los vikingos nos tienen preparada alguna sorpresa más, con algún tema inédito para este gran momento????? Habrá que esperar a ese día, aunque no quisiéramos que llegue el 4 de Diciembre, ya lo tenemos aquí, no hay vuelta atrás ....
