So far we have uploaded some videos taken in New York at Nokia Theatre. In the future we will share some of the great fan videos we’ve received and other original material.

London, Tuesday, 11 May 2010: Multi-million selling Norwegian trio A-Ha have announced that they will mark the 25th Anniversary of their groundbreaking and breakthrough, debut album ‘Hunting High And Low’ when they perform the album in full for the very first time at the Royal Albert Hall on Friday 8 October 2010.
About this special concert at Royal Albert Hall, Magne says, “The Royal Albert Hall has always been one of our favourite places in the world to play. To perform here one final time – and play our first album in its entirety – now, at the end of our career … this will be a very emotional moment for us all!”

There will be a fan pre-sale on Thursday, May 13 at 9:30am. The link to the pre-sale will be posted on Wednesday evening and will not be live until 9:30am Thursday morning.
This newly announced Royal Albert Hall Show precedes A-ha’s ‘Ending On A High Note’ final farewell tour, announced in February this year and coming to the UK in November (see full dates below).
Following a fantastic international career spanning 25 years, in excess of 35 million album sales and 15 top 10 singles in the UK alone, A-Ha’s Morten Harket, Magne Furuholmen and Paul Waaktaar-Savoy announced that they would perform their final shows together in 2010, the anniversary year of the release of debut album ‘Hunting High & Low’.
The 25th anniversary of iconic album ‘Hunting High And Low’ will be celebrated on 12 July 2010 when Rhino Records release a deluxe version of the album massively extended onto two discs and including rare and unreleased gems. ‘Hunting High and Low Deluxe Edition’ includes the original 7” version of “Take On Me” and an early demo version of the same song called “Lesson One”; demos for “The Sun Always Shines On T.V.,” “Train Of Thought,” and the title track as well as fan favourite B-side “Driftwood.”

A-ha en New York y Toronto
La banda ha iniciado la segunda etapa de su ultima gira mundial. Las ciudades afortunadas que ha disfrutado de la presencia de los vikingos: New York (06/05) y Toronto (10/05). A-ha continuará hasta el 16 del corriente mes en Estados Unidos.

Concurso de Talentos
Hola amigos! Les comparto las últimas novedades sobre el concurso de talentos
organizado por A-ha en Noruega.

Los nuevos detalles sobre el concurso de subvención a-ha talento en Noruega han sido anunciados hoy. En lugar de tener las bandas y artistas se firma para ser nominados, los candidatos serán designados por un jurado compuesto por a-ha y otras seis personas de la industria musical. El jurado tiene actualmente una lista de alrededor de 30 grupos y artistas que se reducirá a 8 finalistas en el próximo mes más o menos - 2 de cada parte del país (Norte y Medio-Noruega, Noruega occidental, el sur de Noruega y el Este de Noruega) .
a-ha se han unido con VG de Noruega el periódico más importante para esto, y los 8 finalistas competirán entre sí en la muestra "VG Lista de verano" que se celebran en varias ciudades cada año. El 4 afortunados ganadores será decidido por el pueblo noruego, que pueden votar por SMS o por Internet en VG Nett.
"Es realmente increíble que el público puede participar, y que estamos haciendo de este tan divertido como sea posible para el mayor número posible", dice Magne VG hoy.
Además de un millón de coronas y un concierto de apoyo a a-ha, los grupos ganadores y artistas se dan en los anuncios del periódico VG valor de un millón de coronas.
"Estamos buscando una combinación de distintas expresiones artísticas y una actitud de confianza - y creemos que sería muy divertido si nos encontramos con artistas que son más de un soplo de aire fresco que simplemente obvio favoritos para ganar", Magne , dice.
Este es el jurado de seis personas que ayuden a-ha en la elección de los ocho finalistas:
- Tono Skagefoss Lise (Noruega) - periodista de la música y el ex juez de Noruega Idol
- Øystein Ronander (Noruega) - trabaja por: Larm y Tormenta Mesa
- Kristian Riis (Dinamarca) - director y músico en la banda danesa Sobrino
- Martin Terefe (Suecia) - productora con sede en Londres y miembro Apparatjik-
- Marie Dimberg (Suecia) - manager de la banda Roxette
- Markus Hartmann (Alemania) - jefe de A & R en Starwatch Records

We’ll post instructions for uploading your video next week. In the meantime, get out your video cameras and get creative!
Standout submissions will relate somehow to your hometown or to the city/area where a-ha will play close to you this year.
